This is so sweet and delicious and so easy to made, if you decide to make it with or without the Alcohol (just in case your are pregnant or so LOL) it's just yummie and perfect for the cold season. Without alcohol it's also a nice treat for kids
You need: 1 sour Apple (Jonagold or something)
lemon juice
50 g Sugar (1/4 cup)
300ml 1 1/3 cup Apple juice
1 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp Apfelkorn (german Apple Schnaps)
Peel and core the apple and slice it in thin pieces, sprinkle with lemon juice.
Melt the sugar slowly in a saucepan and let it carmalize.
Stir in Apple and cinnamon. Fill up with the apple juice and let it cook over medium heat for about 5 min.
Stir in Apfelkorn or just fill it in cups! That's it, just enjoy

Sour Cream Apple Pie

For all my american friends: Did you ever had German Cheesecake. It's pretty diffrent than american Cheesecake, because it's make with Quark, which is more like a yoghurt (or sour cream) than creamcheese. This very tasty Apple pie has a filling who is a little bit like german cheesecake. I love this pie, since I tried it for the first time!

You need:
CRUST: 1 refigerated pie crust, softend
FILLING: 1 1/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
6 cups sliced apples (about 6 medium size apples)
TOPPING: 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash salt
3 tbsp cold butter

Heat oven to 400 F. Place pie crust in a pie form.
In a large bowl, beat all filling ingredients except the apples and whisk until well blended. Stir in apples. Pour into pie form. Bake 15 min.
Reduce temperature to 350 F, bake 30 min. longer.
Meanwhile mix all topping ingredients except butter. cut Butter in thin slices (or use a fork) and mix with the rest until you have crumbs, refrigerate until ready to use.Sprinkle topping over pie, and bake for another 20-25 min until topping is golden brown.
